I had never heard of The B-52's in 1980. I was watching SNL to see "Mr Bill". These guys came on and BLEW MY MIND!!!!!! I was fifteen and half drunk, and it was about 1:00 in the morning when it came on. I had never seen anything like it before in my life! The memory of seeing it was emblazzend in my mind forever. I haven't seen it since and was pleasantly surprised when I found it. It's exactly how I remember it 29 years later! Thank You for posting it!!!!!!!!!

This is the performance that opened wide the door to alternative music for me. I was never the same, and never happier. The rest of my family looked at me like I had 2 heads when I fell to the floor with the B52's during this show. Thanks for sharing this vid.
