ohn Ervin, the writer, director and producer of "Catfight" invited me to a dress rehearsal at a Methodist church in Prospect Park on Monday. Outside the weather was hot and muggy, but the heat in the windowless room on the top floor of the church was stifling, a grim reminder that actors (and videographers) must suffer for their art.
