Following his success through a series of sold-out concerts and multi-platinum record sales across Asia, 24 year old pop star Se7en is gearing up for his US debut with the first official single release, "Girls" featuring Lil Kim produced by hit maker Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins off his forthcoming, yet to be titled English album.
Born in Seoul, South Korea, Se7en signed to international powerhouse YG Entertainment at the age of 15. Four years later, his single "Wa-Juh (Come Back To Me)" and debut album "Just Listen" in 2003 went instantly to No.1. In the same year, Se7en won "Best New Artist" in 6 different music awards shows held in Korea and 9 Korean Grammys.
A year from his debut, he released his 2nd album, 'MUST LISTEN'. It entered the chart as No.1, and at the same time, the single "Yul-Jung (Passion)" dominated all the single charts in Korea.
In March 2006, Se7en released his 3rd album titled, "24/Se7en" and he added another No.1 album and No.1 single to his discography. His popularity has earned him an award for the Most Popular Korean Singer in the MTV Asia Awards 2006 at Bangkok, Thailand, and the MTV Best Buzz Asia Award 2006 in Japan. In November 2006, Se7en released his highly anticipated fourth album, "Se7olution" which became another No.1.for the star.
Shortly after, Se7en set off to Japan, where he quickly learned Japanese and jump started a Japanese tour in Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya during the summer, 2007 where he sold out 20,000 people sized arenas. After sweeping through Japan and Korea, Se7en quickly solidified his place as a music icon in all of Asia and now readies for success in the US market.
