From 1988 TV serial ON THE FRINGE. 姜鄠 is local singer active in the local music scene from 1985 to mid 90s. The best known hit is probably the song 恋之憩 from 1986 penned by Liang Wenfu. He was signed to Polygram Music for most of his albums released from 1985-1991 in which he enjoyed greatest success when the record company setup the Lion Studio in the early 80s foreseeing projects in this region. This has since been sold off but this studio still exist today at Commonwealth. In 1988, he began singing songs for local TV Serial and this was one of the toughest songs attempted. Other TV songs include MO DENG QIAO YUAN JIA, TIE JIN XIONG FENG as well as the English Version of this song called EVEN THOUGH. In 1990, he went to Taiwan to develop his singing career but it didn't turn out well and came back after that. His song was a real hard to find until greatest hits CD was finally released by UMG using restoration of old vinyls in early 2000s. The Taiwan released album 永远的朋友 in which he has sang and has his songs in it released in 1990 was also reissued by Polygram HK around the same time. Since he retired from the music secne he has remained low profile and only made few appearances in Eric Moo's concert and the more recent Cong Feng 6.
